Connect Registration Fields

After you have created your field or question, you must link it to a participant category in order for the field to become visible and/or required to your participants in the registration process.

 

Connect your field to a participant category:

  1. Go to the Home page
  2. On the bottom half of the screen, click the name of a Participant Category, under the header 'Participant categories'.
    1. Tip! The view shown consists of two parts. The left part shows which fields are already connected and visible in the registration flow. The right part shows the fields that are not yet connected or visible in the registration flow.
  3. If your field is a Standard Field, continue to step 4. If you created your question, click on the Custom fields tab, which then appears on the right-hand section under the heading "Non-linked basic task fields".
  4. Either drag and drop your field from right to left or click on the small icon with the needle. This connects your field.
    1. Tip! On the left of the screen, the person will automatically be set to the "Main Person". To change this to the accompanying person, click the button "Accompanying" under the "Connected general information fields".
  5. A settings box will pop up! Select the appropriate settings, from the below.
    1. Mandatory: Makes the questions mandatory to answer before moving forward. 
    2. Hide for Bookers: Makes it so the participants cannot see the field during registration or in the confirmation. You as an admin can still see and populate this field. 
    3. The fields value can be copied to accompanying: Enables a 'copy to accompanying' button for someone doing a registration for multiple people. They can then copy the response in this field for the main booker to the other registrations with one click.

  6. Click Connect Field
  7. When your field is now on the left side, the field is visible and switched on in the notification!
  8. Preview by clicking on the small link icon to the right of the name of your participant category
