This article review how to create an activity, common settings, and customizations.
1. Create an activity
- Home in the left side menu.
- Click on Create/edit element at the top under the Web header.
- Click on Activities at the top.
- Click on the + ADD ACTIVITY button.
- Fill in the information and select settings
- Click Add at the bottom right.
- Your new activity will now be displayed in a list under the + ADD ACTIVITY button.
2. Common settings for all types of activities
Tab: Default Settings
- Name
- The name of the activity, must be unique.
- Is usable within the badges admin.
- Type
- The type of activity this activity should be, the following options are possible
- Checkbox
- List
- Number
- Number - List
- The type of activity this activity should be, the following options are possible
- Allotment
- Max amount of participants that can book this specific activity
- If you want the number to be unlimited, leave this set at '0'
- When it comes to lists using this option may not be recommended often as you have the ability to set an allotment per list choice as well
- Price
- The price of the activity.
- Not available for List or Number-List type activities. Instead prices are set on the list options.
- VAT %
- If applicable, the vat percentage of the activity price.
- Value should be "0" if VAT is not used.
- Starts
- Date: The date on which the activity starts.
- Time: The time on which the activity starts.
- Ends
- Date: The date on which the activity ends.
- Time: The time on which the activity ends.
- Start and Ends
- These are used within the registration form to block the ability to book overlapping activities. The ability to book overlapping activities can be managed through flex settings for a participant category.
- The start and end times are also displayed in the booking confirmation.
- The start and end times are also displayed in the event app's "My page"- page.
Tab: Additional settings
- Destination
- Where the activity is taking place
- Location
- Will be displayed on the registration form when the "Desktop" design template is used.
- Short on badge
- Is usable within the badges admin as an alternative name to the actual name of the activity.
- Upload picture
- The picture uploaded is displayed on the button "More info" page of the specific activity within the registration form.
- Visible in registration
- Checked: The activity is visible within the registration forms (if connected).
- Not checked: The activity is hidden within the registration forms (if connected).
- It is not hidden for the administrator when opening a registration form with the link "Add participants" that is found on the participants report (Reports > Participants registered > *category > Add participant).
- It is not hidden for the administrator when the administrator is editing a specific booking.
- Activity is a ticket
- Used in the Scan Tool application
- Used in the badges admin
Tab: Info
- When something is written here the button "More info" will appear next to the activity.
Clicking the link will open an info box within the registration form displaying the information entered in the "Info" tab. - The "More info" link will also be displayed on the "My page" page within the event app.

3. Additional Settings for Specific Activity Types

3a. Check box
All Check box activity settings are covered under the "Common settings for all types of activities" header.
3b. List
All List type activity settings except for those listed below are covered under the "Common settings for all types of activities" header.
Tab: Default Settings
- Price
- This setting is not available under the tab "Default Settings" for the List type activities. Instead it can be found for each of the List options created.
Tab: Activity choice
This is where you create your options for your List type activity.
- + ADD ACTIVITY CHOICE...
- Clicking this button will add an activity choice.
- Name
- Name of the activity choice.
- Allotment
- The amount of registrants who may book this choice.
- Short on badge
- Is usable within the badges admin as an alternative name to the actual name of the activity.
- Price
- Price of the choice.
- VAT %
- If applicable, the vat percentage of the choice price. Value should be "0" if VAT is not used.
3c. Number
All settings for this type of activity is covered under the "Common settings for all types of activities" header.
3d. Number - List
All "Number - List" type settings are found under the "Common settings for all types of activities" header.
Tab: Activity choice
- From
- Minimum amount of this activity the registrant may choose.
- To
- Maximum amount of this activity the registrant may choose.
- Allotment
- How many of the specific option can be picked.
- Will be automatically filled for all the options created in the span but may be edited specifically for created options.
- Short on badge
- Is usable within the badges admin as an alternative name to the actual name of the activity.
- Price
- Price of the choice.
- VAT %
- If applicable, the vat percentage of the choice price. Value should be "0" if VAT is not used.
