Email
Type: Text field
Functionality: Email Address is set to automatically be added as a connected field. We recommend you always leave the email address as an asked question and set it to mandatory. If you do not use this standard 'Email' field, your confirmation emails will not be sent and you will have no way to reach your attendees. Avoid creating email addresses as your own field - the system does not recognize its own fields for communication to participants!
Demand confirmation of e-mail address
Type: Text field
Functionality: Select the associated field Demand confirmation of e-mail address to reduce the risk of the participant typing the wrong email address. This choice involves double email fields that must be matched in order for the participant to proceed with the registration.
Mobile phone
Type: Text field
Functionality: We recommend that you always have the Mobile phone field as mandatory to be able to communicate with the participants. Avoid creating Mobile phone as custom field - the system does not recognize custom fields for communication to participants!
Telephone incl. country code
Type: Text field
Functionality: Accepts all country codes and phone numbers. Please note this is not connected to any texting functionality - use the Mobile phone standard for this.
Address
Type: Text field
Functionality: In this registration, this field is divided into three fields:
- Address
- Zip/postal code
- City
Country
Type: List
Functionality: Via Settings in the left menu, Standard Country can be selected to display the Country field with the default country in the registration (third option under General Settings).
Special requests
Type: Text box
User agreement
Type: Check box

Instructions on how to set the text.
Date of birth
Type: Text field
Functionality: In the registration, the Date of birth must be specified in the format: dd/mm/yyyy. To change this to American formatting, click here for instructions.
Gender
Type: List
Functionality: The Gender field has the list choices Male and Female.
Upload file
Type: Add file
Functionality: Add-on Function. This field allows uploading of file in the registration. Only one file per registration can be uploaded.
VAT.No
Type: Text field
Functionality: VAT is used for tax in European countries.
The VAT.No field will always be validated against the European Commission lookup service, regardless of whether the field is configured as mandatory or not. Validation is done automatically in Trippus and the only exception is if the basic country is filled with a non-EU country. The look-up service only handles VAT.No in the EU and therefore other countries' VAT.No no can not be validated. The purpose of the validation is to ensure the accuracy of the specified VAT.No. This can be important information and is often reported to the Swedish Tax Agency. Therefore, it is important for Trippus customers to be sure that VAT.No is correct. Ie If you have a category for both EU and Non-EU countries, the default field for Country should be linked so that those with non-EU countries can move on in the registration if the VAT.No field is mandatory.
