Image Editing Tips

Sometimes the need arises that you need to make some adjustment with an image that you intended to use in either registration, event app or event page.

If you do not have an image editing program yourself, you may need to contact your company's marketing department for assistance (or that of a sponsor/vendor, for example).

If you do not have a graphic designer, here are some other suggestions for simpler and cheaper image editing programs.

We do not recommend that you try on the Windows app Paint.

1. Pixlr.com
   This is a completely free and web-based image editing program that has a simple user interface and where you can absolutely do simpler image editing such as creating the right size header image and adding a log. It is also great to crop images or adjust their size.

2. Gimp
   This is also completely free and a program that always gets good reviews in tests of free image editing programs. The program is downloaded and installed.
   Many good features.

3. Photoshop Elements
   Not as advanced version as Photoshop but fully adequate for most people.
   Not free. You can download a trial version and try some before you buy.
