Text message (SMS) admin

Via Trippus, you can send text messages to your registered participants. There are several different places from where you can send text messages, including most reports. You can also send text messages individual participants directly via their bookings. To send a text message via Trippus text message (SMS) admin, follow these steps:

1. Click on the button Send text message (SMS) from a report or an individual booking.
   
   
2. Add a sender in the Sender field.
   The Sender field is limited to 11 characters (including spaces).
   Note! Remember to use only letters and numbers, but not Å, Ä, Ö
   
   
3. In the Text field, enter the text message. In order not to exceed the cost of one (1) text message, you should stay below 160 characters in total. This character limit includes links that you may add.
   0-160 characters = 1 text message
   161-306 characters = 2 text messages
   307-459 characters = 3 text messages
   
   
4. In the Select link to include drop-down list, you can add dynamic links directly to your message. Further explanation of the links below:
   Custom link - Enter and send with your own link.
   Event app - Send with a link to an open event app (not directly linked to the booking).
   Event app (Personal) - Send with a link to a personal event app (directly linked to the booking and necessary to, for example, be able to use certain functions in the event app such as My page, Questionnaire or Ask question).
   Include link to all tickets - Send with links to all tickets linked to the booking.
   Include link to a ticket - Send with a link to a specific ticket linked to the booking.
   Questionnaire - Send with a link to a questionnaire.
   
   
5. In the Send date field, select the date you want to send the message. Default is always today's date.
   Note! New bookings will not be added to the recipient list if you set a future date for the text message to be sent.
   
   
6. In the Send time field, select the time the message is to be sent. Default is always the current time (directly).
   
   
7. Under Filter bookings you can filter out bookings that either have the same phone number as another booking, that do not have a mobile number registered or that are not present.
8. When you are satisfied with your message, click the Confirm button. When you click the button, you get an overview of the message before it is sent. Here you see the sender, how many recipients there are, the message content (including links), send time and the longest message length including links. The latter must be under 160 characters in order not to generate double the cost per SMS sent.
   
   
9. Click Send to send the message.
